Accessibility Statement
This English version is a translation for information. The Hungarian version is authoritative.
Cavity Eye Hungary Ipari és Kereskedelmi Kft. is committed to making the https://shop.cavityeye.com webshop usable by everyone. This statement is made under Act XVII of 2022 on the general rules for compliance with the accessibility requirements for products and services (2022. évi XVII. törvény).
1. Description of the service
The webshop sells a printed technical book published by the Seller, in seven language editions. The steps of the service: choosing the edition, cart, checkout (entering details, choosing the payment method), card payment on SimplePay’s payment page or bank transfer, then following the status of the order and the email notifications.
2. Compliance
The webshop is built to conform to WCAG 2.1 level AA:
- the pages can be operated with the keyboard, and the focus is always visible;
- the contrast of text and controls is at least 4.5:1;
- images have text descriptions;
- form fields have labels, and error messages are linked to their field and can be read out;
- the interface can be zoomed to 200% and is fully usable on mobile phones;
- the language of every page is marked, so screen readers read it out in the right language.
Testing: the pages (home page, product page, cart, checkout, back-in-stock request, order page, legal pages) were checked in Hungarian and English, in desktop and mobile view, with an automated tool (axe-core, WCAG 2.1 A and AA rules); on 15 October 2026 it found no errors. A complete purchase (choosing the edition and quantity, cart, country of delivery, checkout, payment method, order) was also carried out using the keyboard only; every control was reachable and the focus was visible throughout. Both checks run again with every change to the webshop. Accessible names and labels are checked by the automated tool; no separate test was carried out with actual screen reader software.
3. Known limitations
- Card payment takes place on the payment page of SimplePay Zrt.; SimplePay is responsible for its accessibility.
- The PDF format of the invoice and the proforma invoice is produced by the invoicing system (InnVoice); their content is also available as text on the order page and in the emails.
